A pair of crutches. A screening outreach. A counselling session. Your support pays for the things that break the chain.

02 What support does

What your support makes possible

RDAF's programmes are built out of small, concrete things. These are the kinds of support that donations and in-kind gifts provide.

  • A pair of crutches, a walking frame or a wheelchair for someone who cannot currently leave their home
  • A community screening outreach — blood glucose testing, blood pressure measurement, BMI assessment and referrals
  • A psychosocial counselling session for an amputee or a family member
  • A home-based follow-up visit to monitor recovery
  • A referral into prosthetic, orthotic or physiotherapy services at a partner facility
  • Information, education and communication materials for a community campaign
  • A place in a vocational skills or financial literacy training group
  • Training for a Village Health Team member or peer educator

RDAF has not yet published the cost of each item. When those figures are confirmed they will be listed here, so that supporters can see exactly what a given amount provides.

03 Accountability

How we account for what we receive

Integrity is one of RDAF's five core values: we uphold transparency, accountability and ethical leadership. The foundation works to strengthen its financial management, accountability and learning systems, and to improve programme quality and impact measurement.

If you are considering a significant gift or a grant, contact us and we will provide our governance details, registration documents and reporting arrangements.
